We are currently looking for a motivated, team-oriented production lead at our Kutztown, PA facility.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar leadership role.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6pm-4am (hours may vary) Saturdays when necessary.
Reports To:
Plant Superintendent As a team leader you will set the example for your production crew and guide them to complete daily production goals.
You will also be a liaison between your crew members and the plant superintendent.
Adopting safe and responsible work habits, maintaining a good attendance record, gaining a general understanding of plant operations, improving personal productivity, and demonstrating the ability to perform required tasks accurately under moderate supervision are keys to success.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Carries out production processes in accordance with the direction, policies and objectives set by the plant manager.
Acts as a coach to your crew to teach and train crew members on the daily manufacturing processes using positive reinforcement.
Adheres to production timelines to ensure production goals are on track.
Responsible for setting up rebar cage according to drawing specifications.
Assists in overseeing the concrete pour from start to finish and ensures team members are productive and efficient.
Reads blue prints to ensure accuracy to shop drawings.
Communicates across departments (such as quality control) to ensure product being manufactured meets specifications.
Utilizes lean practices to produce in an efficient manner and set the pace for the crew.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years in concrete construction or related field.
Minimum of 2 years in a similar production team lead role.
Positive coaching behavior to encourage and coach your team.
Excellent communication skills required.
English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
