Plan, coordinate and direct quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise employees in the quality assurance department Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies Interview, hire and train employees Plan, assign and direct work Appraise performance Reward and discipline employees Address complaints and resolve problems Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product Perform responsibilities as the ISO management representative to insure that the requirements of AS 9000, ISO 9001, QS 9000 are implemented and maintained Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products Plan, promote and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned Skills or Experience Required:
Must have High School diploma or GED and Bachelor's Degree (B.
A.
) from a four-(4) year college or university; or one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual is preferred.
Apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations Apply mathematical operations such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis Read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community Write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format Effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors Quick Apply.
